Responsibilities include:Performing boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction layouts.
Staking property lines, setting survey control points, and benchmarks.
Operation of the total station and data collection equipment.Daily uploading and downloading of data collector.
Daily care of survey instrument, equipment and vehicle.
Responsible for precision and accuracy of survey notes.
Work in a safe manner and obey all safety regulations.
Makes value judgments and assessments in accordance with sound land surveying principles and company procedures.
Performs the most technical duties with minimal supervision.
The physical demands described here include, but are not limited to:
Lifting minimum of 40 pounds
Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Traverse obstacles, creeks, fences, etc.
Use of hand tools including machetes, shovels, manhole hook, etc.
